Acceptance of Terms

By using YT Comment GIF you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

What the Site Is

YT Comment GIF offers a free browser extension that adds a GIF button to YouTube comments, guides about GIFs in YouTube comments, and a free tool that turns a comment into a GIF. The extension is open source under the GNU General Public License, version 3, which governs its code. The site is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by YouTube, Google or Tenor.

The Extension and YouTube

The extension is unofficial. It adds a GIF to the comment requests YouTube’s own page sends, and YouTube can change or block this at any time. Installing and using it is your own decision and at your own risk, including under YouTube's Terms of Service. You are responsible for the GIFs and comments you post.

The Generator

You are responsible for what you type into the generator and for how you use the GIFs you make. Do not use it to impersonate a real person, to present a made-up comment as something someone really wrote, or to harass, deceive or defame anyone.

Intellectual Property

The text and design of this site belong to YT Comment GIF. GIFs you create with the generator are yours to use. YouTube is a trademark of Google LLC, and other names belong to their owners.

No Warranty

The site is provided as it is, free of charge, without warranties of any kind. We try to keep the guides correct, but we do not promise that they are complete, current or free of errors.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent the law allows, YT Comment GIF is not liable for any loss or damage that results from using the site, from following a guide, or from using third-party software a guide describes.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
